Hello, I 'm new on the server and new to minecraft. I spent my 1st six or so hours building me a home and place to farm out in the hills. I log back in today and most of the digging/ mining and building looks like I never did it. Basically it looks like it never got saved.

So I'm wondering if there is something I must do to make the changes be saved or is there I limit to how much I can build?

No, was a big rollback.

Ask for refund.

no its not you some of the files got messed up so they rolled all the files back to an earlier save ask an admin to refund you for stuff lost also post your refund on the 03/11 03/12 Rollback refunds thread /request lock
