Connecting a pump to a railcraft iron tank directly appears to cause 9/10 of the bucket to be wasted. If you are pumping liquid to a railcraft tank for storage, confirm you are getting your full 1000 units of liquid and if not, use a buildcraft glass tank as a buffer.
