[Enjin Archive] Building my own computer
Started by [E] itsprotonic [1]

So I would like to build my own DESKTOP computer. I'm going to mainly use it for gaming. I also would like to record videos. Does anyone know a good list of parts for around 500-600$? With at least 4 gb ram. Thanks.

I suggest customizing your own. Places like Cyberpower are overpriced. PC parts picker is a great website. I suggest you check it out.
Do you want a operating system and monitor included in that price?
No, I have a monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse
So im guessing you want windows 7 or 8 included in the $500-600 price range?
Yeah
Pcpartspicker is great but I don't know what I need/want
I will try to get a build together for you. give me a bit of time

With a promo code on the cpu this come to about $620 with shipping to where i live, in Illinois the cost should not differ greatly.

I would also run this build thorough the guys at toms hardware (always get a second opinion!). they might have some better combos. The website is here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/forum-31-322.html

Anyway this should be a moderate build. Don't expect to play games on max settings.
Nonono, DO NOT GET A AMD CPU, they really suck. If you spend about $20 more you can get an Intel i3. Which is much more better and worth the money
