delete your .minecraft folder in your appdata, then delete minecraft.exe and go back to minecraft.net and re-download everything.
Do you have a mac? if so wait till tomarrow
it's not working, still comes up with the trojan thing, and i used both download links on minecraft.net

delete the file thats screwing then try
hmm i did that, and it just goes black screen, i can't even play in browser =(
Do you have a text pack on? or in the texture pack folder?

Goto skype
so yeah, we still can't figure it out =(
It's actually not a trojan. It's AVG thinking that file is a virus because some idiots thought it would be funny to spam reports as it being a virus, and AVG marked it as a virus/trojan.

This is what you need to do to play Minecraft again.

Option #1 Uninstall AVG and get a better anti-virus. I use Avast. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>

Option #2 Follow these steps to mark it as safe or whatever.

1) Click on "Tools" then "Advance Settings"

2) Look for Resident Shield then click on "Excluded files"

3) Add the false infected file into the list then click on "Apply"

If you can't find the false infected file while trying to add it to the list, then follow these simple steps.
