Have the powers of this once admirable server lost their minds?

This decision to implement the "spawner restrictor" is THE straw that will break the camels back!

Talk about economic destruction.

This once humble mild mannered populous was stumbling along nicely until this blatant CRIPPLING blow was dealt.

This is and outright INSULT to the people who have spent countless HOURS of their time to create wealth, create ingenious methods of farming, and acquire the spawners to accomplish their personal dreams here on Minetown.

I mean Really? do you think that the effort that went into farming spawners, or acquiring the resources to buy them is WORTHLESS?

I am just shocked that this would even be "considered" and option, much less implemented.

This one is too hard to swallow ....

Opinions.... Everybodys got one ...
the rate is still being played with btw...it is way to low as is and we know this....give us a few says to get the numbers fixed and it should be working at a respectable rate at least

This "few days" thing is said every time some crap like this is implemented.

I realize this is not directly related to you, nor is my disappointment with this decision.

I am a very patient person, I will wait and see.

BUT, isn't there a way that these "experiments" can be carried-out without the lab rats being subjects?

I know well enough to trust your judgement, and will we be anxious to see the results of the "tweaking".
i have alot of spawners as most of you know but i dont use em much but if they dont spawn what if i do decided to sell em =[ i wont get any money back from em..

Dim, I completely agree with you, but you have to give the mods a bit of credit... Everyone just try and trust eachother? I know this will all work out eventually, right Zionia?
Dim we are having a good debate on what to do over on the spawners part one thread, I agree with zio something needs to be done to make the economy more stable, and ki that he is also trying to achieve other goals which will benefit the server. Come join us over there and help us think stuff out? Invitation to everyone we need as many good ideas as possible.

The amount of mobs, per type, that can spawn in a chunk from a spawner. It doesn't matter how many spawners there are, if 1 or 100, only one will spawn, and from what has been occurring, if there are any mobs of that type already in that chunk, spawned from a spawner, it kills them, and spawns a new one...
im finishing up the full post that im asking everyrone to voice their opinions and suggestions on now...should be done within the hour...i didnt realize that it would derp as much as it is at 1 per....sayomie tested it on his server and said 1 seemed to be good, but yea, its not gonna work here...gonna ask it to be bumped to 10 for now to test and see how that sits and will play from there....i am sorryr for all the issues and confusion lately...ive been asking for suggestions and ideas for the last 2 months and now that something has been done im getting flooded with comments that were only trickling before...nothing is set in stone yet...this is a test to see if it is worth using or not.

Please keep an eye out for the Spawner thread coming out in about an hour (so long as my laptop dun lose power again). I would really appreciate having all the comments, suggestions and constructive criticism in one place so i can sort thru it all before we do officially set things in stone.
TY Leo! My PZ spawners would not perform at all, maybe the plugin was being worked on at that moment.

This will destroy the value and trading of spawn eggs - even if 10+ mobs are allowed per spawner. If you can only use 1 spawner in a chunk, no reason to have multiple spawners.

This plugin would save the egg market and keep egg prices stable by allowing you guys to adjust the amount of entities from each individual spawner while allowing us to make use of more than 1 spawner to increase farm production. If the living entity per spawner is set pretty low this could eliminate our spawner related lag issues, save the egg market, and keep a steady trickle of mob loot in the market.
