Why don't we make some events to inspire more players?

For one, I think we should make a court and have some kind of addon that helps us do stuff inside of it.

Another thing we could do that is more simple, is make a couple thin roads with four entrances surrounded by fences. Once that is done four of us get on pigs and race to the end.

Just my piece of the pie.

Which is good.

And is better than cake.

i think a treasure hunt would be a fun idea and it would have to take place in a castle that every1 commited to and the winner would recieve whatever we decide to place in the chest and to be in the treasure hunt you have to pay 1d and if you win you will recieve your 1d back plus w/e is in chest, more people=more things in chest
Or we could make an instance, a meteor with an nethr gate in side it (activated) skelli,zombieand pigman spawners, lava fire.. hell stone mossy cobblestone..

The area suronding the meteor is fortified and one gate (5 blocks wide) and 3 blocks away from the gate is a door into the ready room were Chests auto spawn items that'll be removed upon leavingthe area..

items picked up from mobdrops willbe kept then leaving again.

Objective: Grab your equipment and help fend off the massive horde of monsters byplacing 4 torces by every mob spawner (1 at each side.)

Starts everyday from 18.00 - 20.00

Chest's:

Armour Chest -> gives full steel armour

Weapon Chest -> gives one diamond sword, a bow and 3 stacks of arrows.

Food Chest -> gives 5 roasted beef

Reward Chest -> gives 5 diamonds (can only be activated within 3 minutes of clearing out the room by a player that have spent

more than 5 minutes inside the room. Can only be activated once a day(not evty 24hours) eachplyer.

Thechests will automaticly ad the stuff to your inventory by right clicking it and can only be activated each 5 minutes.)

Why don't we go step by step? First I think we should just make quests with each npc. Like the armor shop gives you a quest to find some coal or something to refine his weapons, and if you do he will give you an iron sword. And the food shop gives you a quest to kill the monster surrounding the npc's crops, or it's farm.

Lets go little by little, we might have problems when we try to do everything with barely any experience. Also, your idea is great, it just might be abused. Another thing is that people would get tired of one big quest, its better to have a variety to begin with.
One thing that we definitely should be doing is things like competitions. unfortunately spleef is modless right now. the war system that i am working with mikeliskewl on developing should be finished soon and will give us some server events. as far as quests go, it's a bit hard to run these considering we can't make new items that would be for a certain quest.

Maybe we should make some gauntlets though/dungeon raids. the problem that the only way to really run one of these would be with the use of craftbook which is down right now. using craftbook we can determine whether a mob spawner is lit, we can make timers, generate items for chests and generate specific batches of mobs. resetting such things would also be easily automatable once they are set up. using short term memory circuits of redstone that we can reset. anyone who wants to get started on things like this can start making underground labrinths and potential rooms that i or sawine will wire up once craftbook comes around.
i have finished the arena building now it just needs to be refinished and the item ids all ready also i think that ill have a huge dungeon ill build with the help of kolpool and itll have lots of room the only thing is itll need a ton of mossy cobblestone so if you added that to the admin shop id buy alot for the dungeon
Cool suggestions, i was also thinking of some Last man standing , and capture the flag, when plugins get disponible for this...

Please keep in mind that this stuff might take a while to be implanted as bukkit isnt finished coding and isnt 100% stable with all plugins yet.
