You aren't doing anything wrong. It is a Minecraft server issue that affects all multiplayer logins. It happened last night as well.

yea, trhat is a MineCraft server issue. If any odd messages come up or you have login issues, go to help.mojang.net and check to see if any of the 6 server processes are down. If any are, it means everyone is having the same issue and we just have to wait till mojang fixes their stuffs
