I'm currently planning a large-scale project to be based on a city from a game I used to (and sometimes still do) play.
The city has nine sections and is based in water.
In order to protect the construction site from greifing, would it be possible to:
A) Cuboid a giant freakin box around the planned construction site, to be taken down when finished, (Protected walls with an open interior so anyone invited to my /home could come work, but no one else could get in)
B) Protect the build site, in a way that I could edit the permissions to that location.
I plan on doing most of the construction work myself, or with only one or two helpers, but I may need to have materials brought in from offsite, or find some helpers, so I'd need to be able to edit protection in the case of option "B". Otherwise, I'd have to constantly ask an admin to edit the protection.
I am familiar with the construction aspects of Cuboid, so this shouldn't be a problem with the mod, but rather an ethical problem of whether it can be used, even for a temporary structure.
