The reason people can't connect is because the multiplayer login server is down, So we will just have to wait, it's not MineTown's fault
Acctually Most cant connect when its up, simple answer:
DIRECT CONNECT!
I dunno why the listed one is playing up, but direct connect solves it <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

I can connect perfectly via a saved server address, I have never had any Client-side errors logging in. Therefore, i never need to use Direct connect
Yeah, Dylan, I saw that, you would think Mojang would have protection?

If there was no protection, any man and his donkey-powered PC could cause this kind of thing :L
Simply put, I think their protection ain't good enough for this particular attack ;P
Mojang should have enough Bandwidth to not get stumped when a DDoS hits, that, along with protection, they should be invincible to DDoS.
Yes, They should be able to withstand DDoS Attacks.
You can always vote for minetown in order to pass the time... www.minetown.net/vote
