how do you get squids ive never seen them?

He had Mr. Catman lure them from another dimension.

but like where do you find them are they into the ocean and what do you mean "lure" does that mean hacks or build around them while he was getting killed in the water?

If you didn't notice, there's a mob spawner right there, I'd imagine it's setup to dispense Squid

Also, Squid will spawn in pretty much any deep enough (and sometimes not) water, even manmade.
