So, I have to read the Scarlet Letter for school, and I find it utterly boring. I have even tried listening to it, but that doesn't help, the guy I listen to makes the governor sound like Yoda. Anyone got any advice?
You should convince the teacher to split the class into groups and let each group choose what book to read/discuss (though don't forget to appeal to the purpose of forced reading material). Work on those negotiation skills. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";-)">;-)</object>

In our English class we get to read our own books and just have to write a book critique on it. And we get all 43 days of the quarter to do it.
