i get the Cannot open socket on server error message, any comments, ideas?

just keep trying to reconnect and once you finally get in ...make sure your in main when you log out

tryed and tried, even forced update and alt client, but no, same error everytime, i used mc-mt.com and mc.minetown.net

My brother had this problem last night and could not log in. He forced update, reset the router, and that did nothing. For some odd reason he was able to get on about 30 minutes after. From what me and him did yesterday, we have came to the conclusion this is a server based problem, not a client based one.

This error can happen when you try to login into a server that is down. Although, at the moment, all servers are up.

Some servers are a bit unstable because the anticheat and the proxy don't go well together... we are doing what we can to resolve the issue.

In which server did you log out ?

For my problems, I logged out of the main server, but when logging back in I end up in the hub. Don't know if your meant to log in and be in the hub or not if you logged out from a different server.
