i went to speak and i get "you can not speak"

Can you make it more specific please?

In the server? It looks like they tried to install the localchat mod, but I don't think it works with beta. It tells you "nobody can hear you" but everyone can, and when within (I'm guessing) 32 blocks of another player, everything is repeated twice, with "localchat" repeating everything you say.

Local chat is broken, everyone can hear what you say.

And Local Chat does work in Beta, just probably not the version cody is trying to install.

Yeah I was trying to get local chat to work but it wasnt working right so I took it off. If I can ever find a working version I would make it so everybody can speak globally.
