at first i was :/ about the whole idea because there are a lot of good, honest, friendly minecraft players out there who the server would benefit greatly from, who can't afford to spend the 5 dollars to join. however, i am now :l about the whole idea because there is a very good benefit that comes with it. most griefers/trolls won't spend 5 bucks just to get in the server and grief. they will just go to one that is easily accessable. this will hopefully make griefing rates plumet to near non-existant. i'm glad about this because there has been a lot of griefing lately. now that there is a fee to first join the server, there will most likely be less people and less new people. this can be good or bad. it could be good because minetown will become closer with each other, causing less fights, and insuring no one steals from each other since they will all know each other. the bad thing about this is if the server doesn't have enough players. this change might actually make cody LOSE more money because if a TON of people are joining, a good amount of them will donate. if i had just found this server after it had a 5 dollar entrance fee, i would not of joined it most likely. this measn cody would of never gotten my 20 dollar donation. im still on the fence about this whole thing, what is your thought on it?

sry for the double post, just wanted to make this clear. if the server goes to a subscription fee, like paying monthly, i will quit in a heartbeat, and im sure a lot of people will. just something to keep in mind cody :/

Don't jump to conclusion.

The Fee is just for new comer, ppl already in don't have to pay. It's just question to limit the players who want to join, because in a day they were receiver 100 whitelist application. It's pretty much the only fact why it's instaured. Only mature players will pay 5$ and you know they will be active.

The server will never go to subscription based. That would be ridiculous.

that's good to hear, it would suck so much having to leave this server because of a subscription was needed.
