[Enjin Archive] Minecraft.. Downloading Packages.
Started by [E] SpaceNarwhal

My Minecraft is always stuck on Downloading packages.

The only way to fix it is to go on another computer and download it, upload files and download the whole folder, every time an update comes.

I load up minecraft, sign in, and then it will be stuck on Downloading Packages.

Have tried deleting versions file, deleting minecraft.jar, and deleting bin folder...

How did it happen:
This has been happening all the time on this computer.

My slow computer, can run Minecraft fine, just that its laggy, simply because the laptop isn't that powerful.

Updates fine, and I download every update without a problem.

Has updated fine once. Ever since then, I've had to copy the .minecraft folder from and put in on . This usually fixes the problem.

Since Beta, still is having the problem, even after importing .minecraft from . My Laptop is Windows 7 32-Bit as well. I use the same account, same internet. also used to have problems playing other games like, Maplestory and Combat Arms, which you still can't play.

The way it happens is, I run Minecraft.exe and it lets me log in. It then freezes on Downloading Packages, with not much of the bar.

I have tried :

- Minecraft Portable

- Minecraft Portable + Portable Java

- Deleting bin folder

- Deleting version file in bin folder

- Deleting minecraft.jar in bin folder

- Deleting .minecraft folder

- Running as administrator

- Turning off Anti-Viruses

- Running Minecraft in Browser

- Using Minecraft.jar

- Restarting Computer

Is java up to date?
Yes.

Thank you.
