[Enjin Archive] Siick (Towny) plugin

Towny - Beta 1.9.8 - Updated: Dec 9

Screenshots

Towny is a full plugin for Hey0's server mod that has a lord/mayor who controls the residents in his/her town, a town board (motd-like), and full population statistics targeting only active users. Towns can expand into nations. Each nation has it's own king who can call all it's citizens to go to war against another nation. Nations can also invite other towns into them.

For more information please visit the website. It breaks up the documentation better. I also made a little walkthrough to help you set up a couple of nations. Also, please read the Beta notes here.

Please use Mediafire so I can keep track the downloads. You know, cuz I'm a bugger like that.

The dropbox is a backup in case MediaFire decides to become like a cesspit.

Beta 1.9.8 Dropbox - This is the jar + source of a latest build, expirimental with not much docs yet. Fixes a few bugs though. Check the full changelog.

Beta 1.9: Mediafire | Dropbox - DOESN'T PROPERLY PROTECT TOWNS - REMEMBER to backup your towny data (towny/data/). •Fixed: /town leave not leaving towns and crumbling nations.

•Fixed: /setlord saying resident isn't in town.

•Fixed: Problems with player zoning.

•+ Deafult town.

•+ Regen in towns for it's allies.

•+ A little message when you move between towns & wilderness. This should serve as an alternative to /towny map.

•+ Server option: Move mobs inside towns to underneath bedrock.

•+ Server option: Friendlyfire, when turned off, you can't attack those in your town, nation or any allied nations.

•+ Each town now has it's own PvP settings. When PvP is off, people can't be attacked within towns. /town pvp

•+ /town here : Get the status of the town your psysically in.

•Towny Admins can Build/Destroy anywhere.

•Changed some of the default settings. ClaimRatio is now defaulted to 16 (was 0). The default level 0 (0+ Residents) hard coded in for towns & nations has changed so lazy people don't actually need to install townLevels+nationLevels (Still required for towns to actually "level").

We know this was brought up a while ago by someone else, I think Cody didn't like the idea. I dunno.
But i think its cool

Cuz We have Factio <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f44d.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":thumb:">:thumb:</object> ns
Yeah it would be cool, but it is most likely not going to happen. We don't REALLY need it as much as groupchat or other plugins. And I know we have factions. It was my idea <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f644.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=""></object>
I think that towny plugin is great... but we probably have nothing to say <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object> If it will be added it will be great if not it's still good
It could be cool, but how exactly are we supose to divide the territories ? from the map ? in game like with cuboid ?
As sawine said, could be cool.

But too many ppl tend to make little towns... With this, every1 would be king and things like this. We need to be axed more in to bigger communitys with this, wich is not the case. Every1 tends to make his own little city. Or like me, make big city, and get to sell the lots really cheap cause pretty much no1 will ever live in it. Every1 just build his own...
I just looked at the commands, this would add a lot more jobs to the admins...
