I need a little help I have tried to upgrade to 1.3.1 and it doesn't upgrade any suggestions would be great.

First off I moved the thread into a more appropriate forum.

Second, how so have you tried updating? Does an update popup message appear for you when you launch Minecraft? What exactly have you tried?

i have tried the push update that is there a way that i could copy paste something like i had down graded this last time

I had to reboot... odldly enough try it, see what happens

I'm having trouble updating on my XP but my Vista updated fine...

Please describe what happens when you try to update, not just a generic "It no worky *poke poke*"

No need to call me out on that... sheesh....

I fixed it though. My firewall is too sensitive and was blocking it.

Sorry Poke, wasnt aimed at you, just anyone in general that was having issues. its hard to fix a problem without knowing all the details.
