You may need to rename it to minecraft.jar or just minecraft

Press the windows button in the bottom left hand corner, type in %appdata% and press enter. Then in the folder that opens find .minecraft

Next, (make sure you Minecraft is closed) click on the bin folder and delete the current minecraft.jar (sometimes just named minecraft)!

Then paste in the downloaded jar I gave you above!

Madster is correct in this, technically it is piracy to distribute Minecraft .jars.

BUT- Since i'm pretty sure Mojang allows modded distributions of the .jar files, you can probably just download a version of 1.2.5 with a simple mod like Rei's Minimap or Optifine.

I've removed the link, I know you don't mean harm but do NOT post minecraft jars on the forums. It is illegal and can get us (MineTown) in a whole lot of trouble.
