The Tekkit server isn't official yet, It's being worked on and tested by a few, so no don't ask to be whitelisted.

Contact MastaC. He is in charge of whitelisting.

when was the tekkit server released? i was a part of the voting page that gackt made, but i do not know when it was released. also, when i hover over the people online on the trekkit server fraction, it does not show me the 1st part of the ip. can someone tell me the full ip?

So far it looks like only staff and mastas friends are allowed to be white listed b/c of early testing.

If everyone that wanted on got whitelisted, masta would not be able to work on the server at all, he would be dealing with everyone wanting something from him. The server goes down frequently for fixes, so.it would not work.out if 50+ people are constantly.logging in and out, plus all the people that would get upset over getting kicked frequently. Please be patient until everything is worked out and the server is ready for the abuse of being.publically available. If you interested in getting started in tekkit, go to YouTube learn some stuff so.you know what to do when the server becomes available.

I am still working on giving guests the ability to make petitions and speak in chat, so that they can get whitelisted. For some reason or another PEX and HeroChat aren't playing nicely with chat permissions. Until that's fixed, I need to be notified via the website or in Mumble about getting whitelisted.
