I think this would be a good idea, because you can make shields and such, and it makes making chainmail possible. Watch the video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woUc1YYSOdI&list=ELbJ2Vbe-pYQ0&index=72&feature=plpp_video. It allows you to make chainmail, and dual wield everything. it also makes mining easier. You can dual wield a pickaxe and torches, and not have to worry about switching between them. There is also the Elevator plugin...... That at least, i know how to make. if you want me to show people how to make the shields and such, just send them to me. that is, if you add the mod.
AMAZING IDEA! This is a must have! you have my full support!
Definetly I would love it but is it a multiplayer mod too?
Yeah I would definately agree with this one! <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>
Pretty much out of the question.
This would mean that everybody has to have the mod installed, you'd be kicked from the server if you didn't have it. This means far less members to satisfy just a few.

It's just not going to happen. Sorry.
Yes but its not minetown pvp they are suggesting, its the norm MT
The problem is that it's a mod, not a plugin.
In order to implement this cool Battlegear mod, EVERYONE would have to install the mod to continue playing,
which not everybody can do or want to do.
You should try and look for a plugin alternative.
This site has a bunch of server plugins: Bukkit Plugins
You could browse through them and look for cool plugins, then suggest the ones that you think should be implemented.
