[Enjin Archive] Signature Making! Full Tutorial.
Started by [E] KneeHeadToe

I decided rather than selling signatures I will just teach how to make one.

Questions can go below

Ok Step One: Download GIMP (unless you already have photoshop)

gimp: gimp.org

Step Two: Open up Gimp and go to File: New. When it asks for a size select 500x200

Ok now that you have your canvas set all you need to do is find a backround from google or a build. Make sure the picture is high quality so the skin looks better.

Step 3: after finding your image online right click it and select "Copy Image" after that open up gimp and press Ctrl+V and your image is there!

If its a big picture you won't be able to see the whole thing so you must use the scale tool until its to your liking.

Now that you have that it is time for your skin! go to McSkinSearch.com and search for your skin. Remember that it must be EXACT caps. Once your skin is up get it to the position you want and click "Take Screenshot" after you open up the screen shot in another tab you then right click "copy image" then Crtl+V it into gimp. Its going to be a little big so scale it down to where you can just see the top half of the chest and the head. It is going to have a blue backround so here is what you do: Find the "MagicWand" tool and turn "tolerance" to 30. This is Important. Make sure the name of the skin layer is not "FLOATING SELECTION" make sure you right click the layer and select "new layer" after that click the image with the magic wand tool and you should see a selection around your skin. Press Delete and now your skin will be alone. do the same steps if you want your tags in the picture

Step 4: Now all you need to do is type your name and clan out. That is easy and I suggest finding a font to your liking at dafont.com

After that save as a jpg and turn the export quality to 100. Your done!
Or....don't save as a jpeg because that will obliterate image quality.
What TPrezzle said, don't juse jpeg. Go for png. Also, this skin modeler (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/274120-minecraft-skin-viewer-11-windows-phone/) is a whole lot better than the site you linked. The only down side is that it requires .net framework and windows OS

The one I linked allows you to place and angle the limbs/head exactly where you need to. Also, it allows for images to be saved with a transparent background, so no clipping needed. It ALSO allows you to model skins from the flat file.
