Who think they know what is the best anti virus protection is I have avast put what you think is the best and why. Example like what it has that you like about it and the things that it has in the payed version that doesn't have it in the free version.

I use AVG, it's free but optional to pay for an upgrade.

I'm pretty sure it scans all downloads, emails etc.

I reccomend getting the free version as it does most of the things a paid anti-virus does.

I don't use anti virus at all and have no problems. Kasperksy = No. Takes up alot of system resources, and minecraft will not run good on certain systems because of it. At my job, we put AVG Free edition (link here ) on every computer we service, build, or buy. It has all the functionality to keep the system clean, for free. But trust me, Kaspersky is not the best... My vote is for AVG Free Edition.

See why pay for anti-virus when AVG Free is not only free but it is amazing. For the money (yes, exactly - no money) AVG is a fantastic piece of software and the best part is it isn't like other free software which begs and begs you to buy the full version.

My vote for AVG too. I've put it on about 10 computers (relatives, mine, friends', etc.) and they've never had a problem since.
