I have an ongoing auction of enchanted items on maretplace forum. I would like to edit the original post with the current high bid for an item (and the bidder's name), however I do not have an "edit" link. I was sure that on these forums I have seen an edit link, it must be a time limited function.

It seems that posts no longer have an edit feature, seems completely unnecessary to me. It also makes it difficult to edit event threads and threads like the one you have mentioned.

I understand why this may be necessary in some sub-forums but not globally.

I have figured out that you can only edit posts that you posted the same day. And i don't like it either because it is hard to keep your faction page updated.
