Whats reddit?

It's a place where people post links or text into themed categories or "reddits", and other people comment on and rate the links / text. You also get to rate peoples' comments.

Sounds kinda pointless....

Reddit is actually a pretty influential website and community.

It's one of those simple concepts that was executed at the right time at the right place, and it's grown to be immensely popular and carry a fair bit of weight.

It's like one of the biggest link dumps on the internet. Mostly anything big going on worldwide gets posted on it and also tons of meme.

It's like the cleaner and "less insane" version of 4chan.

It is the 122th most visited website worldwide and the 54th in the US.

I believe its like 31st most visited in Canada actually to. Although I dont have a source.
