I've been hearing about people running other operating systems on their PS3s. Does any one have this? would you recommend it? I heard since the PS3 has such a good video card that it is good for games. However the PS3 has very little RAM.

Ive had Jailbreak in my ps3 for a long time .. and then decided to quit .. I would say its buggy ..

what exactly did the jailbreak do?

Run hacks , Run Homebrews , Run Simulators like N64 , NES , SNES .. ETC ETC , modify ur ps3
