What message is appearing?

I put this in the chat "/ch G (testing to see if chat works for me)" and I get 3 lines: 1st one shows "Command: Focus," 2nd line says "Description: Changes your active channel," 3rd line tells me "Usage: /ch <channel> "

Ah, you weren't meant to write anything after /ch g

Channel isn't found when I type in "/join ch g" nor can I still talk when I type and enter "/ch g" then type anything after "/ch g" (after I mean not on the same line). Thanks for the help to try to get it working. I don't know what's wrong.
