Event Description

Do you get frustrated when you are doing a maze and you keep hitting dead ends? Well, this event is for you! I have created a 31x31 maze with over 50 dead ends and only one exit. Each dead end has a chest containing valuable items such as glowstone, enchanted tools/armor, music discs, etc (a complete list of loot is at the bottom of the post). The contents of each chest is different but the one thing they have in common is that they all contain good stuff.

However, don't let all of the goodies at dead ends distract you from your goal of completing the maze. At the end of the maze there is a ladder going up to a 2nd level. On the 2nd level is a final chest with a skeleton spawn egg, cave spider egg, regular spider egg, a piece of protection IV armor, and many more premium items.

Didn't complete the maze ahead of everyone else? Keep trying to get to the end as fast as possible because a drop party will begin on the 2nd floor as soon as the first player arrives. The drop party has 8 dispensers worth of loot. The stuff in the dispensers is more valuable than the items in the maze (64 diamond blocks, 64 gold blocks, 64 iron blocks, 9 stacks each of diamonds, gold ingots, iron ingots, gold nuggets, plus several dispensers full of other goodies), so don't miss it.

This is a safe event. There are no death traps. Mob spawning and PVP are disabled in the region.

I just edited the post to clear up the confusion. It's at noon eastern time on Saturday (that's 4pm for the folks in England).

Since the prizes are so expensive, I won't be hosting this type of event very often. Probably only every month or two. Additionally, I would have to change up the maze in case anyone memorizes it or takes a lot of screenshots. So, try to make this one as I won't be hosting events of this magnitude often.

ok i also edited my post seeing u edited urs lol and ok then sounds far enough and so what happens if u hit a dead end and out of the 50 dead ends u end up with nothing and so lets say i get to drop party first u just start it without everyone yo that is awesome i need to get some diamonds and gold lol

This is where the strategy comes in. You can try to finish the maze first without taking the time to look in the chests at the dead ends. As soon as the 1st person makes it to the 2nd floor, the drop party will begin (even if only 1 person is there). You'd be the first one when the diamonds and gold start dropping; however, you would have missed out on the 50+ chests in the maze. Each chest in the maze has a bunch of loot in it (several chests in the main part of the maze have spawn eggs in them).

well knowing me i will most likely hit the dead ends to begin with it will just stink if i dont make it to the end drop party but i hit tons of dead ends and end up with probably just like 3 diamonds lol and does anyone else know about this besides me and matt lol cause we r the only 2 who added kudos and said stuff on this thread? if we are dont tell anyone else lmao me and matt can take everything lol

dang didn't see that part lol only payed attention to posts lol and tom is there any way u can have it at maybe 1-2 ish cause i might not make noon but idk i will try hard but 1-2ish i should defenetily be there if not save me some diamonds lol

Sorry, I can't change the time/date of the event. I've advertised it a lot already (this thread has over 175 views), and I don't want to cause confusion or upset the people who are planning on attending the event at noon.
