For some reason when I try to type Im geting a clicking noise coming from my laptop. i have to hold down a key for about 2 secs before a letter appears. ive tried restarting already.

In all seriousness, it could be filter keys. If you go to the bottom right, there should be an icon for it. Turn it off and see if that helps.

If you cant find it, go to control panel and go to ease of access.

How did I even turn that on...

Sticky keys can be enabled if you hold a character down too long. A message will pop up informing you of the beating and it isn't too helpful on how to disable it.
