I have read through the forums here on minetown.net, and I have come to the conclusion that the Server IP is mc.minetown.net.

However, I have attempted to type this into the "direct connect" Server IP box, and it will not work.

The window is saying: "Connection Lost. Failed to login: User not premium"

I do not know what this means, because from what I have read on the Wiki, i should be able to access the server simply as a guest, correct?

If anybody that reads this is capable of helping somebody who just signed up today, please do. This error message usually means you are using a naughty copy of minecraft as you haven't bought the game.

Not that Mojang isn't already loaded by now, but you should have bought the game.

I allowed my brother to install MC on my mac so that he could play it. I assumed he had bought the game, but he may not have, seeing as how I am getting that error message.
