Alrighty i kinda thought of this idea by myself but i do not know if it would be worth it. My plan was to be able to buy a movie that comes out on dvd get it onto my computer and then put it on a website where people can register and watch the movie online without having to buy it. (kind of like netflix but with a twist that you will get to see). I dont know if this is even possible but to add the movie to the site so you can watch it. Premium members would get to watch a movie 1 month before everyone else. Premium would cost only 1 dollar a month so everyone can afford it. If it would get popular i could make it so you can download the movie from the website also but that would cost a little bit extra.

Now for the plans of the dates of a movie

A movie comes out January 1st on DVD

I would have the movie on the website January 8th with DVD quality (premium users only)

For the only registered members only they would get it February 8th.

Would this be a good idea since it would be cheap and you can watch it onto your computer or possibly download it???

Why would i be sued Netflix does the same thing dont they even if i only let them watch it on the website?

That's actually a pretty good idea, which I can say factually because I happen to know that the movie industry is currently considering setting up something very similar. I have no clue what the time frame is as to how long before they come out with it, and I can't tell you exactly what they have planned because I'm legally bound (and probably shouldn't have told you they're planning something similar to what you're suggesting xD), but brotha you just barely missed the train on inventing something awesome and original. FUCK bro that wouldve been awesome i just wanted some extra money and i understand that netflix has alot of members and if you have 3 million members thats 3 million dollars a month that you would make but then again you would have to hire people

Yea like I said man it's a great idea, but I doubt you would be able to pull together the kind of resources you'd need to get that working. Especially because if you're making money off of the movies, you'd have to work out a deal with the movie companies for licensing rights and such, or they'll get your banhammered to jail. Haha

haha i doubt they would talk to someone who only has like 10 people watching the movies and they would just take me to jail right away

Yea, pretty much what I was thinking. It sucks about this world, but no one will take you seriously (business-wise) without a college degree and not until you're about 30. Unless you've already established your business and that's damn hard to do if nobody takes you seriously. Catch-22! Hahaha >_<
