[Enjin Archive] New Donation System confusion
Started by [E] Azemari

Hey, as you can see by my Tag, I'm a $50 donator, I donator a long time ago. And I'm just wondering, how does the old system change into the new system?

I have the same perks as an non-donator. I had a look in the shop and I can't seem to find anything relating to what this means for myself, can anyone clarify for me?
I would also like a detailed answer relating to Bennett020s question. I have found the new donation page a little confusing, it would perhaps be beneficial to have some note informing that older players will retain their previous donator perks or not. I have noticed changes in the perks I have over the years. Some of which are gone or have been changed significantly (probably for good reason, so I never saw it as a problem).
Any player who donated before we changed to our new EULA complying system will keep the perks that they got when they purchased the rank.
Yeah, I was speaking with Bumpy in-game. And just to check my understanding is correct. Players that got the perks during their time before the EULA, keep them, with the exception of some of the extremely unbalanced things, such as /kit logs. And if you buy anything from the shop, that will just be added on top. Which is pretty neat.

My only remaining question is say I'm a $50 donator, which I am. Does the system still work where if I buy $50 worth of goods from the store, will I ascend to the $100 mark? Or are they just here to symbolize our generosity in the times before the EULA?
I believe that any new perks you purchase will work in conjunction with the old perks you already have. This should also affect your donator tag as usual. Please correct me if I am wrong

P.S. Thank you, Lampbork, for the quick reply.
