How often does the world map update?

Does it update in seperate chunks? Or does it load the whole thing at once?

Will the tracking system that shows you where you on the map come back?

Here's what I know / have heard:

- The world map updates every 24 hours, or at least is supposed to

- The tracking system will come back, no news on when though

As far as updating in separate chunks, I'm not sure, but I would assume it updates all together.
