"Commands:

/player : Show resident's (player) last login and assigned towns

/town : Show town status and residents

/residents : Show all residents to ever log in

/newtown : Create a new town

/deltown : Delete a town

/setlord : Set as lord over town (removes old one)

/townadd : Add to 's residents

/townkick : Remove from 's residents

/settownboard : Set town board of current town

/leavetown : Allows a resident to leave a town. If the lord is leaving the town and he's the only resident. The town is deleted.

/settownregion : Set's region specific to the town.

/setregion : set (or make) a new region

Features Added:

*Manage towns

*Town Board - Shown on login.

*New to server message

*Threaded queue of commands

*Regions - The area you enter is automatically sent to your console on entry.

*Active Player population

Features Planned:

-An Admin command, probably in the format /set

-Continents, Countries, Towns, Houses, Points of Interest, Player Locations

-Nations: Best name I could think of for this. Since it's a country with a political structure. I'll be making it so that the definition of the nation (township, province, country, empire) changes as towns are added to the nation.

-Capitals: Same with nations, the definition will probably change. (But it will still be the town in the specific nation with the highest active population).

-Elections

-Separate properties file so as to not clutter the server specific one.

-ALL the default text will be customizable. One of the last features I'll add. Close up there with SQL. "

This mod hasn't been developed yet but It still lists out what features are available, I personally think its a good idea as it will weave out people who haven't payed for permits as they won't be registered in the system and it will provide an organized system to towns etc. On top of that Its loaded with features. No poll because this is open to discussion seeing as it hasn't come out yet.
is this setting a permiter over the persons house so no one can mess with it except for the lord?

you see the thing with this is we dont want to go around and mark the spots of the places people built if you look around the whole map you will see alot of things being built. and we would have to set up each one.... i know it would stop griefing but with all the new things being built it would take forever
yeah we cant protect every single building but for like shops, i can protect the shop to the shopkeeper so he is the only one that can get in. And would be good for banks so we would have a place to safely store gold.
I'm hearing we are going to start a new map when the updates come out; but keep the old and leave it for download. Start a new map and if it becomes RP; if and only if; it could be added and have set perimeters to keep people from wandering out too far. Making the map too big.
yes if we do go to a RP in which it all depends on the big update coming up if we will switch right now i think were going to stay with this server but if we do go to a RP server it would be a great idea and i bet we would go with this idea when we start fresh
This is a good idea but it needs a little work to be implemented into our current system. I like Cody's idea of using it to protect shops and such; without any mods it is literally impossible to protect any belongings that don't fit into your inventory from griefers and thieves.
Yes, this seems like a good idea. I'm sure there are ways that people far more superior with modding and coding than me can find a way to make this work.
