Minecraft In-game name: epicalisepic

I was accepted, but I cannot talk in the server or do anything. Please help.

It takes time to manually whitelist members. Be patient while waiting for a mod to find this post. When they do, I'm sure one of them will whitelist you.

While you do that, surf the forums and maybe introduce yourself! Our community is awesome, you just need to get to know them.

I, too, am facing this problem. I did not want to make a new thread, seeing as this one already existed, but I did think it prudent to at least alert the staff to the issue so that it can be remedied.

That is assuming that when you said "this post" you literally meant that seeing this thread would cause a moderator to take notice and whitelist us. If that's not the case and it's simply a matter of waiting for the approved application to be filed through an additional staff member or something of the sort, forgive this obtrusion. I will just go and be obtrusive somewhere else now.

It takes some time for them to add you in the system. Im very sure that if you were accepted, they will add you asap.

That's rather odd, because I attempted to utilize the server earlier today and was met with messages telling me that I wasn't allowed to use /tell, /tpa, or even simple chatting functions. I just checked my application - after all, we all make mistakes sometimes - but found that I had in fact typed my username correctly. Did you copy and paste it, or type it out? Oftentimes people think that the zero in my name is a capital "O", or that the lowercase "L" is an uppercase "I", or any manner of such things.

All apologies, but I promise that I'm not trolling anyone. I am legitimately bewildered as to why, if everything proceeded so smoothly, I am being barred from key functions. Unless there's a lag between being whitelisted and receiving one's permissions? I last got on several hours ago, so it's quite possible that it has updated by now if that's the case, and if it is I shall check shortly.

Well, I just checked, and I can chat but I am apparently stuck on guest chat, from what I gather. I tried to enter the global chat and I wasn't able to, despite the help of several kind people who gave me a code that allegedly would allow me to do so. I am very confused about the whole matter.

EDIT: With the help of several kind staff members and non-staff members, my problem was solved. I needed to leave the guest world to receive my permissions. I will leave this post here in case somebody else has a similar problem.
