This would be a very simple event, and was inspired when me and my friend were arguing about vaults and which staff member is the best at making vaults, adding upgrades etc. 

So I thought it would be a good idea to hold a custom vault desgin/build event, where any mods who wanted to could enter, and they simply design and build the most creative and original vaults they can, but only using what could normally be added to a vault, no extras! Then at te end of the event a panel of judges would decide which vault is the best and award 3rd, 2nd and 1st positions. 

I'm still not sure what the prizes would be, however I thought that when the event is over the vaults, either all of them or just the winning ones, could be auctioned off in the forums where anyone could bid for them and then use them as their own vaults. The money made from auctioning the vaults could then be used as prize money for the event winners. Obviously the winners could do whatever they want with the money, however this would be an ideal opportunity for some more diamond dumping <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";)">;)</object> and if another prize was thought of then I guess the diamonds could just be dumped straight away <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

I have already posted this idea on my events team application however I thought I should create a new thread just for it, and hopefully, if I do get accepted in to the team, I will be able to co-ordinate and host this event!!

I don't think this has been done before, but if it has please correct me and I still think it should be redone because I think it is a great event and a good way for people to buy custom, pre-made, vaults if they don't know what they want or are just looking for a nice vault!!

Hmm, the only reason I said only normal items was because I wasn't sure whether it would be allowed, however I'm pretty sure that everything/anything you want can be put in your vault if tou ask. I guess it's up to what the staff think about it!

However if you read my post thoroughly:

you would realise that I was never suggesting disallowing that stuff, and later on I suggested that there isn't really much you can't get put in a vault normally of you ask for it.

The main reason I said only normally allowed items/features should be used is because the point of the event is to see who could design the most creative an original vault, whilst keeping to the normal vault style, rather than going off and creating an entirely new vault that normal members wouldn't be able to get normally.

I want it to be creative and original as well, but the idea is that they are still vaultworld vaults, not just some magical castle with chests in it!

What about sizes? Would it be a custom vault zise they do? or a normal vault size they improve? Other then that, awesome idea!

This is just another building comp... but with a restriction... not that i wouldn't like to see another but i want something better then a vault... everyone has to make a potato. lol.
