On Minetown it is crucial to have a good reputation! If you want to have friends and have the staff like you follow these simple rules!

Firstly;

- Be polite.

- Be yourself.

- Help out.

- Don't break rules.

These rules are only brief. I cannot always be said to follow these rules myself but its good if you can manage to keep to these guidelines.

Don't be stupid! If a member of staff (or normal member) asks you a question or asks you too do something, do it. This will make you popular as someone who can help out in a time of need.

Don't lie. Say if a member of staff asks you if you are using a hacked client tell them the truth. As much as you shouldn't use one, if you do, turn it off. This will save a lot of time wasting and let the staff deal with more important issues.

Always be kind and happy, Minetown is a community, not a place for verbal abuse.

If you want to be staff use these tips and you have a better chance, plus more people will want to know you making you a popular, friendly community member.

But good post anyway Sloop, a lot of new players seem to be skipping that part.

I dare say make the applications harder, but that means more work for staff. Oh well, I think we're doing alright for a server of this size!

A person that doesnt take the 5 seconds it takes to read the rules certainly wont read this either.
