[Enjin Archive] "Failed to login: Bad Login"... Have I been a naughty, err... login?
Started by [E] Palonti

Sorry for being a noob, but I can't login because of "Bad Login". I'm logging in as Palonti, definitely... but I can't log in.

First thought that comes to me: I've been banned.

Can someone tell why this is showing up?
You've not been banned. This isnt a minetown problem, this is a minecraft problem, the way it has been coded can cause these problems... java doesnt help lol

Try either closing minecraft and restarting or restarting the computer entirely.... this should help xx

Edit: And stop with the useless polls D:< I see enough of them lol x
This is my first poll... I needed to execute it in an appropriate manner so why not do it WRONG? <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
It's something with java- Happens to me too.

Just exit your client and re-log in, and it should work. If not it means the server may be down.
Just restarted my computer. It works. Thanks Danni and Pokemon <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
Not a Java problem, an internet problem. All the mumbo jumbo of the hassle of Notch has got the game crashed!
Don't hate on the login system guys, it was actually done right from a security perspective; the only issue is it is dependent upon session.minecraft.net being available for you to log in, but there's no real way around that. "Bad login" means that either your password was incorrect, or your client couldn't connect to session.minecraft.net to generate an authentication token-- your internet, or amazon's internet is the issue.

"Failed to verify username" means you're not using a legit minecraft account or copy of minecraft, or that the server couldn't connect to session.minecraft.net to verify the authentication token that your client provided it when trying to connect.
So the issue was session.minecraft.net was messed up.

Java has caused the majority of my Minecraft problems. This isn't one of them. So I can't blame them <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/2639.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":(">:(</object>
