I have never heard such beautiful dissonance! Nice song, can't remember it to be honest..

Is that an M-Audio keyboard?

(And well done!)

The song was originally not a solo piano piece. However, after every Final Fantasy soundtrack, a "Piano Collections" soundtrack is released with solo piano adaptations of the most prominent songs of the last Final Fantasy title.

The Piano Collections version (AKA the version I play in the video) was later used in the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Yes, it is m-audio.

No, it is not a keyboard.

Most electrical pianos and keyboards have midi-applications. This one is not an exception. However, it is a stage piano, not a keyboard (88 keys, not 61)

I recorded the MIDI in Anvil Studio. I played it in Synthesia, which I recorded with Fraps. That is how I got the keyboard in the bottom of the screen.
Hate to be pedantic but yes, it is a keyboard. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>

Anything with a key layout like that is a keyboard, even including a piano technically. It's a stage piano too though <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";)">;)</object>
It's amazing to hear that you finished it!

Awesome job...

I feel quite pathetic and talent less now -.-
that is epic....

EDIT- listened to it a second time, it sounds like a pokemon battle theme.... i really should get final fantasy...
truely awesome.. I almost expect the sad sad "game over: to happen soon, since so often that followed after hearing that song..

I am not taking anything away from you, because as a musician I can say "I can't do that.." but some of the other links on that page are pretty awesome too... i got to a :"requim for a dream" on guitar that was impressive: here...
