Possibly a low donator perk but trash bin signs are far more convenient to use. Simply click a sign and place items into it to be destroyed.

EDIT: seriously though, would the sign be conected to a chest like the tradecraft (i think that was it) or more like it opens a temp virtual chest that is wiped when closed?

I used it on my server and it was a temp chest that clears when its closed. I know the lava method and use it frequently but have a lava pit near my chests isnt always possible where as a sign can be placed anywhere

this plugin sounds amazing, it will reduce so much space taken from lava and is safer

One of the few plugins that is awesome. I'd probably have about 12 of these signs, haha. Honestly, though, it should be a thing open to all (in my opinion). Why? Everyone has trash. With less items in game, less memory is used. As well, many non-donators own a town, and having trash signs around town might help people out too. I know some towns have trash chests around town that the town owner would (once a day) come around and take out. I see no harm at all in this plugin (besides the usual all plugins take lag, but this should be insignificant to call lag). Me wants! hehe.

Well if they go the donator route I think it should be a very low level donation. $5 - $10 if it isnt made available to all. I only suggested it as donator feature since I know they are looking to add things. I would just love this as I thing many people would. I believe its actually something that wouldnt require another plugin but just a permissions setting to allow it. I am not sure on that but in my private server its just a setting.

Someone that knows what their talking about can answer that one though.

Two of my opposing opinions on this matter-

For the plugin- I have a lot of junk. Kit Wood's wooden axes are worthless, so is flint on this server pretty much (Besides arrows) this would make it easier a lot.

Against the plugin- One man's trash is anothers treasure. I see people throwing away supposedly useless and ugly blocks like dirt and cobblestone, and I have a lot of use for such items. It would be cool to have a "Trash Chest" or free item chest that people can take one item if they put in an item. A plugin like that would be perfect!

If you want to get rid of items, there is always the /clear command.

/clear - clears all of you Inventory (not hotbar)

/clear -a clears all of your inventory(Including Hot bar)

/clear -s Clears your selected item
