[Enjin Archive] Should I?
Started by [E] Eunjun

So, a few people have now approached me and asked if I would apply to be a mod. So, I decided to do this. I know many of you, and many of you know me. Here's what I want, I'd like your opinion. This is a yes or no question, so that is all I'll include in the poll. Here's the deal. If 40 people say yes within a 4 day time frame, I will apply for being a mod.

Here's a little about me that many of you might not know. I'm actually a pretty shy guy when it comes to talking to people for the first time. That's why I'm not on mumble too much. When I am, I'm usually just silent and listen until someone asks me a question (which has only happened twice before). In real life, I have just three friends that I spend time with (all other people I know are just classmates/coworkers/acquaintances). Mods are usually outgoing, so I want you to keep that in mind. Yes, I am very active on the forums. When I do post, it's usually a long essay answer to a problem or part of a discussion/debate... in which I get about 4 private emails on the forums complaining as well as a few post responses complaining. Why do I write long responses? I like being a thoughtful person, as I rarely see this within our community.

So, with all that in mind: Should I apply or not? I'll leave it up to you (as staff look at the community as well, this is why I'm doing this because 3 people telling me to be a mod doesn't really reflect the larger part of the community).

EDIT: I'm not going to bump this because I leave it to you. I won't even look at this thread until the poll closes.
You would make an amazing mod, you're smart and you know just what to say all the time <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
9 down, 31 to go!
I said yes because you aren't afraid to speak your mind no matter how many people may think you are wrong, and I think that is a quality we need to see more on the forum in general, as well as on the mod squad. Being a mod isn't all about being active in the chat...its about helping the people. It doesn't matter if you do it from behind the scenes, all that matters is that you do it to the best of your ability. That being said, I see no reason you shouldn't apply. Good luck man!
Do it.
