Banned Due to Stealing from Chest

Appeal Start: I was banned from server ID "MT.GG" on March 1 2016 due to stealing from chest that at the time the chests were in unclaimed land and hand no indicators as to whom the chests belonged to, thus I decided that I was in the right to take the items in said chests because they had no owner. Another note there is no substantial proof that I took the items, so in my opinion the ban was hastily done.

Second, why in the world would you place a sign there, further incriminating yourself?

My defense is that the chest was in unclaimed land and the items had no claim with a sign, so I thought I was clear. I put up a sign to let the person know that if they want to protect their stuff then they should put in in a claimed land block or lock it.

What can I do to make this right?

You're still not acknowledging the fact that what you did was wrong. Re-appeal in two weeks with a new thread and a 100 word essay on why you're being punished for theft.
