Hi. Just a quick question.

1) Is there a way to move a house from one location to another? (Probably, but not sure) - If so, is there a cost or something?

2) If a property containing chests got moved, would the contents of the chests stay with them? (I.e, moving my entire house from an inactive to an active town, if i buy the plot in said active town?)

depends on the size, if it is small and an easy move, some mods will just do it...if it is large/complicated, it may require a small monetary donation for the World Edit

when we copy/paste all items will transfer from chests. Occasionally there are some bugs with enchanted gear, but everything else trasnfers w/o issue

So i could get my 4 storey building (1 level is basement) moved to another town.

Size is 16X26 (Area)

and probably like 30 blocks high (from basement floor)

Would it cost money to move it?
