I followed the instructions for downloading clean 1.1 jar file and the rest of the instrucstion but the load is getting hung up...

It says updating mincraft and on the same screen it's saying done downloading and the green bar dowloading bar has stopped moving before it finishes...

Any suggestions

FYI it was because I didn't take the 1.1 out of the name of the jar file I pasted in the bin folder!

Well, since you replaced the .jar file, tell me what it is named exactly.

Because usually when you download the .jar it will be something like "minecraft 1.1.jar" or minecraft 1-1.jar" In that case, rename it "minecraft.jar" the game is looking for that jar file named "minecraft.jar" if its named different, it will result in not loading all the way.

Ya when i pasted the file it used the minecraft1.1 as the file name. So I deleted the 1.1 part of the name and bingo !
