[Enjin Archive] Quick Question About This Mod..
Started by [E] Jazza

Hi all,

Over the last couple of days, I have been building a house on the server and I really want to save it and put it into my own singleplayer world.

I then remembered a mod review I had watched a long time ago about a mod for Minecraft that saves parts of a multiplayer world that you are near, and puts it onto your own computer.

Basically, I am just wondering whether I would be able to use this mod or whether it would be against the rules.

I think that would be cool! If minetown allows that i'll be so happy to have my builds in my singleplayer ^^
There was something similar asked (about a map save). I don't think this would be possible as we want to keep minetown things on minetown, as minetown as invented many unique building designs that could be stolen.
Based on a quick skim through the thread link, I'm going to say no because it can be used to provide an unfair advantage. Not saying that you especially would do that, just that the possibility exists and if we made 1 exception for a member, even if it is for good intentions, then we would have to allow everyone to use this mod.
Alright.

Thanks for your help <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
Aww... ok.... no Shadowstealth Castle singleplayer level :/
1 word. Rebuild <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>
Poke, what you can do is take screen shots and make a replica in single player. That is how I actually build from single player to the server. I don't go the opposite way because, well... I see no point, hehe. I build stuff to share, not hide it. /<object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>

I do understand I can rebuild it.

I was just wondering whether I could do it another way.

And dunsjohn, I will <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>
This mod has gotten people banned in the past because it allows players to basically download the map and then x-ray it for diamonds, caves, and other resources, which gives an unfair advantage and is considered a cheat.

An admin *might* be willing to provide you with a world edit schematic of your house which can be imported on your own server or in singleplayer using worldedit, but they may not if they think it'll spawn a bunch of people wanting things copied out which will take too much time.
