~Welcome to 'Thread de Adelaide'~
~Adelaide History~
Adelaide is a picturesque town located at /warp Adelaide. It was first founded by me, Coffeey, and later 8x8johan, one of the most highly regarded builders on minetown, as our Co-Mayor
Adelaide has had 2 locations in the past. The first was my very first home i built on minetown which I rented as an apartment, and then decided to sell lots around it thus forming the youngest form of Adelaide. I sold more and more houses around and eventually got the idea of selling houses me and johan would build ourselves instead of selling lots, this making the town exactly how we wanted it.
A few months later and Adelaide was growing bigger me and johan finally came to terms that my hurried and badly planned out town needed to be severely landscaped, or moved altogether.
We decided eventually that the best way to go about it was to move each house 1 by 1 to a new location we had picked out which was then called 'New Adelaide'
Finally when all the houses were moved apart from a few which are still left in the ruins of Old Adelaide, which we aren't bothering to move because of them not being good enough, we made the decision to get rid of The original adelaide, and to call what was at the time known as 'New Adelaide', simply 'Adelaide' thus renaming the original 'Old Adelaide'
Our latest project in adelaide was /warp namarket (NewAdelaide market) and Mt. Adelaide at /warp mtadelaide
The ruins of the very first adelaide can still be seen at /warp oldadelaide

At the moment Adelaide is coming along very slowly because me and Johan have always been the only builders in adelaide but I have realised we need more..
I am calling on anyone who thinks they have skill in building and architecture to contact me on this thread with this format of application to be the first of many, Chosen Adelaide builders:

The wages of a builder of adelaide will be in piece rate, so you will get paid A LOT for every house you make, or you can chose to get a percentage of the selling price.
