There should be a donator only chat channel because donators tend to be the more mature ones on the server, donators could share ideas, and also it will make being a part of the donator group feel more exclusive. Heres a poll

I don't really feel segregating people according to status is really something we should do with our server (with the reasoning you gave). If we do that, we'll probably see a decrease in interaction between donator and non-donator players. Just my opinion.

lol duns john the reasons I gave are not great reasons they are just the best I could come up with at the moment... its late where I live so I'm currently only half awake so I couldn't really come up with great ideas

Well, as a donator, I don't think this actually brings anything to the server or community other than elitism over who is monetarily rich and who isn't. The other thing is we actually have a *lot* of donators. If you're wanting a filtered general chat, I don't think you're not going to find it in a donors-only chat. And to your point of donors being more mature-- I've seen plenty of examples of incredible donor stupidity, enough to say that I haven't seen correlation one way or the other. We as a community should not be segregating ourselves like this, and we already have a place to share ideas-- the donor forum. I think bringing that into the game in the form of another channel would just clutter the channel list.

I mean, what if they took this idea, and implemented it, but made it a $300 donor perk? Would you be happy with that? It's one thing to give a few extra free in-game items to someone, but I think telling someone that their speech, their ideas are not worthy because they don't have value in the form of money to donate to the server is not a place we should be heading.

If you notice the content of the donor forums-- they don't really contain ideas, or very few of them. It's mostly just donators asking for help with donator related things, and I personally thing that is how it should be. If the staff want to give donators priority, that's fine because nobody is excluded because of it, but the core of the community, the mixing and mingling of ideas, is all out in the open, shared amongst everyone that has an idea. Ideas must be judged on their own merit, and not that of who is speaking them.
