[Enjin Archive] [Official] Buying Donations Rules.

Buying Donations

Okay so today there was a staff discussion about this as it has gotten a little out of hand, so here's whats been summed up:

- Players are allowed to donate on behalf of other players.

- Players who wish for donations can ask other players but if they say no you must leave them and not ask again. It will class as harassment if you keep pestering which can lead to a ban.

- No threads at all asking to buy donations, most members do not want to see these and some that have been posted have had a negative reactions.

- You cannot broadcast in global or the other channels. Doing so will result in a jail sentence.
If you are being pestered by a player to donate then please take screenshots of their messages and also a screenshot of you stating you do not want to donate for them. Then post all screenshots in the 'Report' section of the forums. If there is enough screenshots and evidence we will be issuing strict bans.

If you feel these rules are not fair in any way please feel free to create a poll about them and see what the overall community feels. From what we have seen we feel most players will agree with these rules.

We know there are players that are too young or may not have the money to donate and for this we have provided a benefit to voting for Minetown. As usual, the votes get restarted for the month on the top sites. We encourage you to go vote! Your votes are an important part of Minetown's growth and success. Please vote for us as much as you can, it really does help.

The rewards for the top voters rewards are:

1st. 35$ donator pack + 15000 MT credits

2nd. 20$ donator pack + 10000 MT credits

3rd. 10$ donator pack + 5000 MT credits
About the "no threads at all asking to buy donations" could we make an auction where you can use donation money as a bid?
Or can we offer services, for which one way to pay is via a donation from the buyer, but not the onyl way!
I also suggest documenting any deal made with other players. My concern is two people making a deal, then one doesn't follow the deal or there was a misunderstanding. Where there is real money involved is where I'm concerned about scams. Now the staff will have to step in and try to sort out the misunderstanding. So lets try to keep this simple and not another mass problem in the making.

No threads involving trading donations for anything. If you want to hold an auction, you will have to find some other venue to host it.
You could always make a status post (on your wall) about buying donations and hopefully one of the people on your friend list sees and can refer you to someone, unless they'll do the donation for you. It's the easiest solution to do a "public" broadcast, but still being private (as the only people getting notifications on the site are those on your friend list).

Thank you for taking steps to stop the harassment that was starting to occur because of this. It was starting to get out of hand <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
