[Enjin Archive] Question!
Started by [E] Idellechi

There's a member who has a lot in my town who has been inactive forever. I can't even contact him. A town rule is inactive lots are resold.

Since the member is inactive, and I have no way of contacting him, do I, as the town owner, have the right to take the lot and everything in it?

I don't want to go ahead and steal/grief without a moderator's consent. So i'd be greatful if a mod were to answer my question.

Thanks!

EDIT- The user's name is R3D24. if anyone knows anything about them please contact me.
pokemon you have the right to demolish take back the plot/s but YOU MUST give them a week or two's notice I.E. a sign on there plot or somethin and if there are privated chests im afraid a mod has to do it and they destroy the items i believe
so long as you give them at least 2 week notice and try to contact them, if you own the town you can evict for inactivity.
I've been trying to contact them, but i can't find them on the forums or on the server anywhere.

I'll give one more week, that ok? I'll post a sign on thier house

And a reason i can tell it's inactive- The chests are unlocked, about a week ago before the lwc failure they were locked.

Side note, I'm not sure exactly how accurate that is. If they were inactive when that happened, and don't regularly /cinfo their chests, they may not have realized that the protections were dropped.

but broadcasts went on for days! They must've heard something if they were online.
I was online for all of those days and never saw them. Possibly I was on at the wrong time, possibly I just wasnt paying attention, but if I missed them someone else could have as well due to just not watching chat.
We tried to make it as well known as possible, but it's still possible for someone to miss the broadcasts and not return until after the forum thread was buried. The best thing to do is to just put up a sign in front where they can't miss it if they visit the place, which says for them to contact you.
Ok!

I also did /mail Write. they havent responded yet and told them they have till the 1st of march.
General rule of thumb, take all their crap after their's week notice, and move the chests somewhere else, if they ask for their stuff back, they have it. Nice and simple
