I've been playing Minecraft for about one year. Most of my MC multiplayer experience is on small, private servers but I have recently joined a couple large public ones to try them out. Additionally, I have MMO experience in other games, going back several years.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I tend to observe and quietly mine, while getting the feel for the community. Once acclimated, I am a friendly chatter and activity participant. While I do have a slightly weird sense of humor, I am by default respectful to other people. Not just for show or because the rules said to be.
Why would you like to join Minetown?
Honestly, the server that has so far impressed me enough to stay around is currently having unusual tech problems and I am looking for a secondary community that not only I can play on, but my husband would also enjoy being on. I have intermediate webserver skills by average (html, php, mysql, javascript) and I am currently learning java programming.

Considering certain behavior I've seen on multiple servers, I'd like to emphasize that I do not expect handholding. I am quite okay with navigating the world, mining in appropriate locations, and building appreciable structures. I do not whine nor do I demand free stuff. As an extension on a previous question, I found MineTown via the Spoutcraft client public server list.
I had no clue how addicting Minetown would be...
