I have no clue why, but ever since i registered an account on this server i keep getting the Cannot Reach server thing. Is the server downed or am i missing something?

Currently, the server is online, and seems to be resolving just fine. It might be your connection that's having issues. If you can get elsewhere fine, then it might be a firewall that's blocking it. Are you at a school or university where the connections might be filtered?
